I completed Week 5, Day 2 of "The Hundred Push Ups Training Program" this morning. There are three more sets in today's program, but of fewer reps. I payed attention and adhered to the 45 second rest in between sets to start building up the endurance I would need to do 100 consecutive. Today, I did 17, then 17, then 16, then 17 (oops, one extra!), then 14, then 14, then 12 push ups, then maxed out at 35. That is a total of 142 push ups! Those sets with fewer reps towards the end are still really hard when only resting for 45 seconds in between.
In knitting news, I finished my hip scarf! I really like it and will do my best to get pictures up this weekend.
Now, to the beach!
