Selamta Family Project Fundraiser

My friend, Dorothy, is raising money for an internship with the Selamta Family Project. She asked me to donate a performance for her fund raising event last Saturday. I was surprisingly nervous for this one, but I think it went well. I loved my song (A Passage East by Brian Keane & Omar Faruk Tekbilek) and the audience (mostly dancers) was extremely generous with audible feedback during my performance... another testament to the amazingly supportive local bellydance community. The other performances were great, and I hope to perform at more events like this. Supporting a great cause... dancing with great women... all good things...
