Black Friday 2010

I had no intention of doing any real "Black Friday Shopping" this year.  There were no big ticket items on my Christmas gift list, and My Honey and I were out of state with his family for the holiday.  On a whim, however, we decided to pop into the local Goodwill.  No more than five minutes after arriving, My Honey presented me with this...

a whole bag full of vintage sewing notions!

Zippers...

and rick rack...

and bias tape...

and seam binding...

and more! This entire lot was marked at $9.99, but everything in the store was 50% off. I payed less than five dollars! A great find!

I immediately darted over to where My Honey found this treasure and also found some fun trims...

and some ribbon yarns that have dance-accessory-potential.

And finally, I found this...

vintage knitting pattern booklet.

I love this asymmetrical top...

and this shell and cardigan...

and this shaped tunic.

I am so grateful we decided to pop in (and that My Honey always has his eyes peeled for things I might like)!
